What we look for.

We seek founder-owned, family-owned, and closely held businesses with an established place in their market. Our focus includes the Austin–San Antonio corridor and other major Texas markets.

As an independent sponsor, we work with capital partners on a deal-by-deal basis. We assess each opportunity on its own merits, including the business, the team, and the owner’s priorities.

An established operating history
Typically 10 or more years in business, with a track record we can understand.
Durable customer relationships
Recurring or re-occurring revenue and a defensible local or regional market position.
People who know the business
Experienced teams, practical operating knowledge, and a culture worth building on.
A clear reason for a transition
Succession, generational change, a new majority owner, or an opportunity to support the next phase of the business.

Where we focus

Six sectors. A shared investment perspective.

We concentrate on service and distribution businesses where customer relationships, technical expertise, and reliable execution matter.

Fire & life safety

Inspection, maintenance, and service businesses supporting essential systems.

Three starting points

Why owners begin a conversation.

01

Planning succession

You are considering retirement or a generational transition and want to discuss what comes next for the company.

02

Changing your role

You may want a defined handover, an ongoing operating role, or an advisory relationship. We discuss these preferences early.

03

Building the next phase

The business has an opportunity ahead, and you are evaluating a new majority owner alongside operational support.

Fit comes before a transaction. These criteria guide our review; they are not a commitment to invest. Any offer is subject to diligence, financing, definitive agreements, and other closing conditions.

A useful first conversation

Start with the essentials.

An initial overview helps us assess whether a more detailed discussion makes sense. We can discuss confidentiality arrangements before you share sensitive information.
